Over the past 13 years, the Axe & Fiddle Pub and Music Club has earned its reputation as the nightlife hub of historic downtown Cottage Grove, Oregon.

Live music and entertainment draw a crowd to the Pub nearly every night of the week, with performers from down the street, across the country or even the globe gracing a newly revamped stage.

In addition to quality musical acts, the Pub also offers an impressive calendar of special events including monthly Science on Tap and History Pub gatherings and a monthly Sunday Drag Brunch. This year, the Pub is also proud to introduce a full lineup of dinner theater productions to further expand its cultural offerings and reach new audiences. And its welcoming community atmosphere means that even first-time visitors often become a part of the action!

Located in the beautifully restored Burkholder Woods Building at the corner of Seventh and Main streets downtown, the Axe & Fiddle features local craft beers, craft cocktails from a full bar and an eclectic dinner menu that features locally sourced, organic seasonal ingredients and nightly specials.

The Pub’s head chef brings 15 years’ cooking experience and a culinary arts degree to a kitchen that uses local ingredients whenever possible, often featuring produce from nearby farms during the summer months. The recent addition of Sunday brunch has further expanded a delicious array of menu items, and the Pub’s hours have been extended to include fantastic lunch offerings.

In the classic public house tradition, the Axe & Fiddle serves as a focal point of its community, hosting many of its most important gatherings and providing a welcoming, inclusive place where all can feel comfortable chatting about current events (or just about anything, really) and enjoying fantastic food and drinks.
