Jake consistently offers in person meetings to his audience to give motivational speeches aside from comedy. Jake was born in California then moved to Oregon on his 11th birthday which he has since called home. He began doing stand up comedy shortly after his 21st birthday when a friend booked him at a club without telling him. He performed 20 minutes his first time and was immediately booked weekly for a year and a half providing a new 20 minutes each week.  As an actor Jake has been involved in many productions most notably when he put on high heels to play Hedwig the titular character of “Hedwig And The Angry Inch” for which he was placed on the National Understudy List which is a testament to both his acting and singing ability. In the world of Comedy Jake has performed every coast (3) of the United States. With over 23 years of experience\, he has mastered how to bring joy to all rooms and stages. He has been a regular at The Comedy Store (Original in LA) The Improv (Melrose location) and The Laugh Factory (Original Location). Jake is the winner of Last Comedian Standing Oregon which at its time was the third largest competition in the world. He has been voted best comedian twice by The Source Weekly among many other accolades. One of the most flattering nicknames Jake has is a Craigs List Robin Williams. Throughout his career\, he has collaborated with a diverse range of artists\, including Richard Crandell\, Neil Patton\, Masumi Timson\, Ciro Magnani\, Carlos Zapien\, Mark Schneider\, Niels Miller\, among others. As a classical guitarist\, Ricardo has performed extensively at libraries\, universities\, concert halls\, and festivals throughout Oregon. In addition to performing and composing\, he is dedicated to teaching classical guitar and Latin American music in both school and private settings.
