Sassafras! is a quartet/trio from the Eugene area blending 60s–70s folk-rock, roots rock, Americana, and Celtic influences. Featuring Brent Hample (guitar/vocals), Virgil Cater (percussion/vocals), Greg Moring (bass/vocals) and Kamden Flowers (vocals/percussion), the band formed in 2023 while sharing songs in a cozy living room. Their sound mixes heartfelt ballads, playful ditties, and warm vocal harmonies inspired by The Beatles, Bob Dylan, John Prine, and traditional Irish pub tunes. Sassafras! brings a fresh, nostalgic vibe to every show.
