Hailing from Sydney (Australia), Kara’s music has taken her on an incredible journey throughout the globe. She has performed several times at the Jakarta International Blues Festival in Indonesia. In 2011 she toured Japan with “The Swampers and Donnie Fritts”, (the infamous house Rhythm section for “Fame Recordings” in Muscle Shoals). She”s played in Switzerland, France, Belgium, Germany, Luxembourg, Spain…and India, often to sellout crowds. In the US, Kara has performed at numerous Festivals such as The Portland Waterfront Blues Festival and Blues from the Top in Colorado. Kara has also appeared at the Austin City Limits Music Festival.
She’s also opened for Peter Frampton, Buddy Guy, Taj Mahal, Robert Plant, and Jonny Lang.
