Forest Mountain Lion grew up in Cottage Grove, playing at the Axe and Fiddle for the first time in the early 2000s while in high school. He went on to get a degree in classical composition from the U of O, and then spent years playing music in LA. He's glad to finally be back in Oregon, and he's now performing a set of new songs about love, nature, spirituality, and a vision for the kind of future that can only be built together locally. He is joined by some of the best local musicians: Annemarie (Anumi) Hoffman on violin, Jacob Sellars on bass, Courtney Wade on harmony vocals, and Connor Dean on drums.
