Awahnichi would soon become a 3 piece band, and later release a record titled, "Five Hundred Seeds". Staying true to his roots, in 2024, Awahnichi is releasing his sophomore album titled “Our Hearts Still Beat”, an album written about his Tribe’s (Yosemite Valley / Southern Sierra Miwuk) stories, struggles and fight for federal recognition. Performing the new record with a 7 piece band.
